Thou upholdest me in mine integrity. Ps. 41:12
Creative courage and creative endurance lead us into creative fellowship and service. It is a wonderful thing to know that you are brave and strong, with a mind and body unfettered by harboring wrong. In a world filled with wrongs, hatreds, and injustices that would smash our world, it takes a lot of courage to be really Christian and help build a better world. In emergencies every part of us needs to be genuine, for hypocritical parts will not stand the test. When we have God’s presence we forget petty personal troubles and worries, for with Christians there is that companionship of someone bigger and stronger than we ourselves will ever be.
Christians gather strength and keep the faith. By so doing they continue to gain confidence because God upholds them in this assurance.
Help the weak if you are strong; Love the old if you are young.
God’s plans are not provisional—they are fully guaranteed forever. What a thought! We can be active, selfless coworkers with God! “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will direct thy paths.”
DEAR HEAVENLY FATHER, teach us when we are in doubt to go into silence and think Thy thoughts along with Thee in prayer, so that we may find the solution to all our problems. Amen.
