You can settle for a life of certainty. But certainty can only provide comfort for so long. Jesus didn’t promise his followers certainty in life apart from his presence.
When you’re lost and have no idea what to do, trust in the Light to show you where to go.
There are times when we all could benefit from a little encouragement, but are kind words alone sufficient? True biblical encouragement has the deeper purpose of strengthening our faith and drawing us closer to God.
However, what was it like for the paralytic? He had to rely on friends to carry him wherever he wanted to go. Obviously, this man was what would be deemed in today’s language a “complete quadriplegia”.
The world is in need today of persons who can see clearly. In the midst of strife we are prone to look at life from a narrow viewpoint and with dulled vision.
